Notification of revised RC West operating procedures RC0130, RC0130A and RC0220
MESSAGE

RC West has revised the operating procedures referenced below.

 

RC0130 Notification Requirements for Real-Time Events, version 1.6, effective Nov. 28, 2022.

Added footnote to Item 3.1.1 regarding momentary outages of equipment <300 kV. Added new Items 3.2.10 and 3.2.11 to streamline requirements for phone or Grid Messaging System (GMS) notification to Reliability Coordinator (RC), for generation outages. Changed generation outages in items 3.2.5 and 3.2.8 to be Outage Management System (OMS) notification only.  Added clarifying statement to Scope/Applicability section.  Approved by the Real-Time Working Group (RTWG) on 11/14/22.

 

RC0130A SOL Exceedance Reporting Guideline, version 1.5, effective Nov. 28, 2022

Updated Section 1.1 to clarify what qualifies as a momentary exceedance.

 

RC0220 Rime Error Correction, version 2.1, effective Nov. 28, 2022

Periodic Review: Replaced CAISO RC Operator with RC West Operator in Purpose section. Minor format and grammar edits.
