The California ISO will hold a public stakeholder call on July 22, 2022, to discuss the revised issue paper for the Planning Standards - Remedial Action Scheme (RAS) Guidelines Update initiative.
In June 2021, the ISO launched a new initiative called Planning Standards - RAS Guidelines Update and held the first public stakeholder call on June 24, 2021, to discuss the issue paper. During its work on this initiative, the ISO discovered that additional research was needed to evaluate the interaction between the RAS and the Generator Contingency and RAS Modeling (GCARM) in the market. Progress has been made on this research and a revised issue paper has been developed.
The revised issue paper is available on the Planning Standards - Remedial Action Scheme Guidelines Update initiative webpage. The presentation will be available prior to the call on the same webpage.
Please submit written comments on the revised issue paper by Aug. 5, 2022, through the ISO’s commenting tool using the link on the initiative webpage.
