The California ISO is hosting an educational Price Formation workshop on Feb. 12. This workshop aims to explore different methods to include commitment costs in fast-start pricing more deeply. Understanding this topic is crucial for stakeholders to grasp the ISO's ongoing analysis of fast-start pricing's potential impact on the Western Energy Imbalance Market. The Price Formation Enhancements team has also posted a comment template for feedback on the Scarcity Pricing Sprint. Comments are requested by Feb. 20. Note, the pre-registration link for virtual meeting has been updated, and those who have already registered are confirmed for the meeting.

An updated tentative schedule for meeting dates scheduled in February and March 2024 is now posted on the initiative page.

An agenda and presentation will be available prior to the meeting on the initiative webpage. The working group meeting will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time.
