The California ISO will host virtual working group meeting for the Price Formation Enhancements initiative on Sept. 27, 2023. If you plan to attend the working group, please pre-register in order to receive participation details.
To further the discussion in the working groups, a discussion paper is posted to the Price Formation Enhancements working group initiative webpage. The paper reflects the discourse in, and stakeholder input on, the Price Formation Enhancements working groups to date.
The meeting will complete the conversation on the history and existing mechanism of Balancing Authority Area-level market power mitigation, provide an overview of the Price Formation Enhancement discussion paper, as well as a workshop on problem statement formulation which can be applied to the working group.
The agenda and presentation will be available prior to the meeting on the initiative webpage.
