The California ISO reminds stakeholders to register for the April 29-30, 2024 Resource Adequacy Modeling and Program Design (RAMPD) hybrid working groups if planning to attend in person. Pre-registration for virtual participation is also now available.
An agenda and presentation will be available prior to the working group meeting on the initiative webpage. Key topics to be discussed during the April 29 meeting will include ISO’s Balancing Authority Area (BAA) RA Backstop Processes (e.g. the Capacity Procurement Mechanism), Tangential Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) Resource Sufficiency Evaluation (RSE) Issues applicable to the ISO BAA, and Resource Adequacy Modeling. The April 30 meeting will include a focused discussed on the revised problem statements based on stakeholder feedback and the pathway forward to policy development for certain resource adequacy topics.
The working group meetings will be recorded and the video files posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recordings are for informational convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
Please submit written comments on the working group meetings by end of day May 14, 2024, through the ISO’s commenting tool using the link on the initiative webpage.
