The California ISO will hold two public Resource Adequacy Modeling and Program Design stakeholder working group meetings in February 2024. The first working group meeting on Feb. 13, 2024 will be offered in a virtual-only format, and the second meeting on Feb. 27, 2024 will be offered in a hybrid format. Attendees may choose to participate in the February 27 meeting in person at the ISO, or virtually. If you plan to attend the February 27 meeting in person, please register by end of day February 20.
The virtual working group meeting on February 13 will focus on 1) reviewing stakeholder feedback, 2) exploring problem statements, 3) recapping the ISO’s former UCAP proposal, 4) reviewing modeling in the mid-term and long-term, and 5) a deep-dive review of counting rules.
The hybrid working group meeting on February 27 will focus on 1) an overall review of modeling, and 2) a deep-dive review of planed and forced outage and availability incentives.
An agenda and presentation will be available prior to both working group meetings on the initiative webpage.
The working group meetings will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
