On Aug. 24, 2023, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approved the California ISO’s proposal to apply new shift factor thresholds in the ISO’s markets for default load aggregating points (DLAPs) and Trading Hubs (THs) in the ISO balancing area. Effective Sept. 13, 2023, the ISO will reduce the threshold for these aggregated locations from 2 percent to 0.2 percent.
