The California ISO has updated its transmission capability estimates that it provides to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) for the development of renewable resource portfolios in its Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). A white paper describing the input assumptions and development of the ISO’s transmission capability estimates provided to the CPUC will be available on the transmission planning webpage. A public stakeholder call is scheduled for July 5, 2023 to review the document with stakeholders.
The white paper and a presentation will be available prior to the meeting on the Miscellaneous stakeholder meetings webpage.
