The California ISO recently received FERC approval for the tariff amendments associated with the Variable Operations and Maintenance Cost Review 2023 initiative. To implement these tariff amendments, the ISO will update the default variable operations and maintenance adders effective Dec. 1, 2023.

No action is required from market participants. The ISO will update the values on market participants behalf. Any variable operations and maintenance adders that have been negotiated with the ISO will not be affected.
