The California ISO has scheduled a stakeholder call on June 28, 2022, to present its final analysis as part of the Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM) Resource Sufficiency Evaluation Enhancements (RSEE) Phase 1B initiative.
The final analysis is available on the WEIM RSEE webpage. A presentation will also be posted prior to the call on that same page.
This analysis covers the impact of load conformance on WEIM transfers, the assessment of the quantile methodology to estimate uncertainty requirements, the assessment of intertie deviation adders, and the interaction of WEIM import transfers and CAISO hourly exports. This final analysis will help inform the WEIM RSEE Phase 2 policy development.
The call will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
