The California ISO has scheduled a stakeholder call on Oct. 6, 2022 to provide stakeholders with the opportunity to ask questions and provide verbal comments on the Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM) Resource Sufficiency Evaluation Enhancements (RSEE) Phase 2 final proposal.
The final proposal, which will be available on the WEIM RSEE webpage prior to the call, modifies the revised draft final proposal to no longer provide that the ISO would by default elect to be eligible to receive WEIM energy assistance. Instead, the final proposal proposes to conduct a subsequent stakeholder process with ISO BAA load serving entities and their regulatory authorities to determine if and when the ISO BAA would participate in WEIM energy assistance.
The call will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
