ISO/RTO Council (IRC)
The ISO/RTO Council (IRC) is an industry organization consisting of representatives from the 10 Independent System Operators (ISOs) and Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs) in North America. Collectively these organizations serve two-thirds of electricity consumers in the United States and more than 50 percent of Canada's population.

GO15
“GO15 Reliable and Sustainable Power Grids” is a voluntary initiative of the world’s 18 largest power grid operators.  The members represent more than 70% of the world’s electricity demand, provide electricity to 3.4 billion consumers on the 6 continents and are responsible for integrating 2,518 GW of generation capacity into the grid, of which 21% is from renewable energy sources. GO15 investigates fundamental issues of common interest to its members and develops joint action plans addressing improvement of power system security.
