The California ISO is declaring CAISO Grid GENERATION Restricted Maintenance Operations
for the period from 01/19/2010 19:53 through 01/20/2010 23:59.
The CAISO is extending the current Generation Restricted |Maintenance condition through 23:59 on 01/20/2010 for the |following reasons: Current storm conditions state-wide and |the storm-related loss of generating capacity on Tuesday, |01/19/2010.
Restrictions to maintenance affecting Generation as detailed in
ISO Operating Procedure E-509 will be in effect. Additionally,
Market Participants are cautioned to avoid actions which may
unnecessarily jeopardize generator availability.
This notice does not restrict scheduled outages which do not
affect generating resource availability.
