The Tariff is current through August 10, 2004.
Currently effective language from Tariff Amendments and compliance filings, which FERC has approved, is shown in clean copy. Pending language from compliance filings that FERC has not ruled on as of August 10, 2004, but whose proposed effective date has already arrived, is shown in highlight.
Note that where such pending compliance filing language will supersede currently approved language, it will be necessary to consult previous versions of the Tariff to see the full text of the language superseded by the highlighted pending language.
The Tariff does not include Tariff Amendments submitted to the Commission but not yet approved (e.g. Amendments 62).
This version updates the July 7, 2004 version of the Conformed Tariff to reflect:
• The approval of Amendment 60 by FERC on July 8, 2004 (see Order on Amendment 60 at 108 FERC 61,022) with modifications as ordered by FERC and reflected in the ISO’s Amendment 60 Compliance Filing made on August 10, 2004. The new Amendment 60 language can be found on pages 98, 99, 110H, 110I, 110J, 110J.01, 110K, 179, 179.01, 179.02, 181, 184B, 184C, 184C.01, 184D, 184D.01, 184E, 248, 249, 249A, 249B, 250, 250.00, 344, 344.01, and 349A; those changes proposed in the August 10 compliance filing are shown in highlight. These pages are contained in the PDF documents below numbered 02, 03, 04, and 06, as well as in the Combined Tariff PDF document. For the specific content of the changes, compare the current Conformed Tariff to the July 7, 2004 version http://www.caiso.com/docs/2004/07/23/2004072313512114600.html and review the blackline changes shown in Attachment B1 to the ISO’s Amendment 60 filing of May 11, 2004, and Attachment B to the ISO’s Amendment 60 Compliance Filing of August 10, 2004, available at the Tariff Amendments section of the ISO website;
• Tariff additions proposed in the ISO’s Compliance Filing of July 22, 2004 in Docket Nos. EL00-95-085 and EL00-98-085, made in compliance with FERC’s June 22, 2004 Order on Remand in those proceedings (see 107 FERC 61,294). The new proposed language can be found on pages 40 and 516; as it has not yet been ruled on by FERC, it is shown in highlight; These pages are contained in the PDF documents below numbered 01, and 13, as well as in the Combined Tariff PDF document.
• Tariff revisions proposed in the ISO’s Amendment 59 Compliance Filing made on July 29, 2004. The revisions consist of clean sheets correcting errors in the original Amendment 59 clean sheets on pages 564 and 564A, as well as a new Dynamic Scheduling Protocol (DSP) on new pages 934 through 944 at the end of the current Conformed Tariff. As the DSP has not yet been ruled on by FERC, it is shown completely in highlight;
• The approval by FERC of the tariff changes proposed by the ISO in its Amendment 54 Compliance Filing made on March 11, 2004 (see Order on Rehearing and Compliance at 108 FERC 61,142 at PP 93-99.). These changes were made to correct outdated terminology, inconsistencies and redundancies in use of defined terms and internal cross-references, and spelling and punctuation. They were shown on previous versions of the Conformed Tariff in highlight; now that they have been approved, the highlighting has been removed. As these changes affect several hundred pages of the tariff, a list of affected pages is not being provided here. For the specific content of the changes, review the blackline changes shown in Attachment B to the ISO’s Amendment 54 Compliance Filing of March 11, 2004, available at the Tariff Amendments section of the ISO website.
Following the Tariff itself, five tabbed supplementary sections (corresponding to the ISO’s MRTU filings, the Amendment 55 Oversight & Investigations filings, the December 15, 2003 Must-Offer Obligation compliance filing, the Amendment 60 provisions on Allocation of Minimum Load Costs respectively, and the new section 5.11.6.2 on Security Constrined Unit Commitment (SCUC applications respectively) are provided which include language, which is not yet effective. Tariff language that is approved but not yet effective is included in the clean copy of these supplementary sections; Tariff language from pending compliance filings is shown in highlight.
The current version of Tab 1 reflects changes to the July 7, 2004 version made by Amendment 60 (and the Amendment 60 Compliance Filing) on pages 110K, 184C, 184D.01, 184E, 184E.01, 249B, 250, 250.00, and 349A. For the specific content of these changes, consult Attachment B2 to the ISO’s Amendment 60 filing of May 11, 2004, and Attachment D to the ISO’s Amendment 60 Compliance Filing of August 10, 2004, available at the Tariff Amendments section of the ISO website.
