The Market Redesign and Technology Upgrade Program (MRTU) is significantly changing the way Market Participants interface with the CAISO Market Systems. As a result of these changes, the MRTU program will provide an environment for Market Participants to test specific changing interfaces against, in preparation for more formalized testing during Market Simulation. This test environment, termed Market Participant Sandbox, will provide external participants the tools required for developing and testing system interfaces
