Commitment Costs

There are multiple initiatives underway to refine how resources are reimbursed for start-up and minimum operating costs. This is an effort to ensure resources are accurately and fully compensated when dispatched through the ISO market.

Effective 1, 2011 - Changed the gas delivery point from SoCal Border to SoCal CityGate for more accurate pricing and enabled systematic election of proxy or registered start-up and minimum load costs and daily proxy cost bidding
