ISO Web Tip #1 How to bookmark sub pages in frames. This tip shows how to save a Netscape bookmark or Internet Explorer Favorite of a sub-page on the ISO Web site so you can access it directly. This is a general tip which should work with all web sites which use frames. Once you have saved the bookmark/favorite, you will be able to go directly to that page from the link. PLEASE NOTE: information contained in the other frames on the screen will be lost. You will see only the page marked. This will have only minor consequences on the ISO Web site. However, on other web sites, this may cause problems or make the page unuseable. INTERNET EXPLORER: (Tested with version 4.72.31108 SP1) - View the page you wish to select. - Using the RIGHT mouse button click on the part of the window you wish to bookmark. - Select "Add to Favorites" from the menu and choose/create the folder in which you wish to put the bookmark. NETSCAPE NAVIGATOR (Tested with Netscape Communicator version 4.07) - View the page you wish to select. - Using the RIGHT mouse button click on the part of the window you wish to bookmark. - Select "Add Bookmark" from the menu. NOTES: Similar procedures can be used with other browsers. Check your documentation or help files for instructions. All tests were conducted on Windows NT 4.1 using the version of the software indicated. Other versions of these packages and other operating systems may react differently. Directions are for a "right handed" mouse. If you have reset your mouse buttons, use the appropriate button.
