The California ISO released a request for expressions of interest on Aug. 25, 2022, as an extension to the 2021-2022 Transmission Planning Process to determine interest from California load-serving entities in out-of-state resources in the Idaho area. As noted in the request for expressions of interest, the ISO planned to have a follow-up stakeholder call on Oct. 19, 2022; however, due to additional time required by the ISO to review submitted responses, it has been delayed until November. Appropriate notification in the Daily Briefing will be provided once the review is complete and the follow-up stakeholder engagement timeline is finalized.
