The California ISO is proposing to keep the existing upcoming Generator Interconnection and Deliverability Allocation Procedures timelines and milestones at this time, and is not proposing to make any adjustments to those dates.
The ISO has examined concerns expressed by some generation interconnection customers as to whether the ISO should seek to adjust the timelines and milestones in April 2020, due to concerns related to COVID-19 and potential business and financial transaction delays.
The ISO consulted with a number of stakeholders and trade groups, and the overall feedback was to maintain existing timelines and milestones, thereby avoiding delays to interconnection requests that are moving forward on a timely basis. Recognizing the importance of helping our generator interconnection customers be successful in their endeavors, the ISO will seek to be helpful in addressing individual issues on a case-by-case basis.
The ISO appreciates the open communication and constructive industry feedback received in these difficult times.
