The California ISO posted the LA Basin Black Start Service Proposal application instructions, specifications and the Request for Proposal (RFP) commercial worksheet, to provide an opportunity for resources to submit specific black start service proposals.
Please submit RFP bids to blackstartcompetitivesolicitation@caiso.com by close of business Aug. 9, 2021. Applicants may also submit questions to the ISO for clarification at any time prior to the proposal due date to the email address above.
The ISO will attempt to answer these questions in a timely manner. The answers will be made available in a table that the ISO will post to its website, at: http://www.caiso.com/informed/Pages/MeetingsEvents/MiscellaneousStakeholderMeetings/Default.aspx. The ISO will update this table on a weekly basis or as needed (note, the ISO will not include the identity of the applicant in the table).
