The California ISO has posted on its website PLEXOS production cost models of the Integrated Resource Planning 38 Million Metric Ton (MMT) Core Portfolio. The models for the Integrated Resource Planning Reference System Plan were previously posted on Oct. 13, 2021.
The ISO’s postings include both stochastic and deterministic models. These modeling results were referenced in the ISO’s Opening Comments, submitted on Sep. 27, 2021, in the California Public Utility Commission (CPUC) Docket No. R.20-05-003, Order Instituting Rulemaking to Continue Electric Integrated Resource Planning and Related Procurement Processes.
