On June 17, 2021, FERC approved a request from Harbor Cogeneration Company, LLC, for a one-time waiver of charges issued under the Resource Adequacy Availability Incentive Mechanism (RAAIM) (FERC docket no. ER21-1321-000). To implement the waiver, the California ISO will refund RAAIM charges levied against the Harbor Cogeneration unit and retract RAAIM incentive payments previously paid to other resources.
The refund will be made Monthly Resource Adequacy Availability Incentive Mechanism charge code on the October 2020 T+18M recalculation statements publishing on May 11, 2022 and November 2020 T+18M recalculation statements publishing on June 8, 2022.
Charge Code 8831 (Monthly Resource Adequacy Availability Incentive Mechanism Allocation) are changed due to refund in CC 8830 (Monthly Resource Adequacy Availability Incentive Mechanism Settlement). Billing for these statements will be reflected on the weekly invoice issued on May 11, 2022 (October 2020 T+18M) and June 8, 2022 (November 2020 T+18M).
The associated interest will be reflected under Charge Code 7989 and 7999 based on the ISO payment calendar.
