- public interest groups actively involved in energy issues within the ISO balancing authority area,
- generators, marketers and other energy providers whose resources are within the ISO balancing authority area and engage in transactions for power within the ISO balancing authority area & transmission-dependent utilities, publically owned utilities located within, and engage in transactions for power within, the ISO balancing authority area, and
- entities located outside the ISO balancing authority area that engage in transactions for power with the ISO balancing authority area.
Each sector is responsible for selecting its own five additional members to serve on the committee.
Stakeholders interested in participating must send their contact information by Oct. 28, 2022, to the sector lead of the member class sector that best represents the stakeholder.
An outline of the board nominee selection process can be found in the Board Selection Policy.
The following steps will be taken for the nomination:
- The professional search firm of Korn Ferry will create a list of at least four qualified candidates for each Board seat set to expire on Dec. 31, 2022.
- The list of qualified candidates will be forwarded to the member committee, which is comprised of six stakeholders from each of the six member-class sectors.
- Based on inputs from the committee, Korn Ferry will submit a recommendation of candidates to the ISO for transmittal to the Governor's office.
