As an outcome of the 2021-2022 Transmission Planning Process, the California ISO selected LS Power Grid California, LLC as the approved project sponsor to finance, construct, own, operate and maintain the Manning 500kV Substation Project. LS Power Grid California, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of LS Power Associates, L.P.
The ISO conducted a comparative analysis of four qualified project sponsors and their applications. The analysis included assessing the degree that each project sponsor met the selection factors under ISO tariff section 24.5.4 and the qualification criteria under the ISO tariff section 24.5.3.1.
