The California ISO has posted an updated list of announced retirement and mothball generating resources per the Generator Management Business Practice Manual. Market notices are posted for resources of 45 MW and above, however, all resources, regardless of size, are included in the list.
The list provides stakeholders with information regarding notification requests to change a resource status from active to retired, mothballed, or otherwise unavailable to the grid. The document contains the status of the ISO grid reliability review, deliverability retention status and major milestones for maintaining deliverability for the retired/mothballed resources.
