New Initiative: Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resources Participation Call 5/21/15
The California ISO posted a presentation representing its proposed scope and schedule for a new stakeholder initiative called Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resources Participation. A stakeholder call is scheduled on May 21, 2015 to discuss the presentation. Please submit comments by close of business May 29.
The ISO is launching a new stakeholder initiative called Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resources Participation and has posted a presentation to the ISO web site at http://www.caiso.com/informed/Pages/StakeholderProcesses/EnergyStorage_AggregatedDistributedEnergyResources.aspx. The presentation serves as the ISO’s proposed scope and schedule for this initiative.
The initiative addresses high priority action items from the Energy Storage Roadmap that call for clarifying existing ISO requirements, rules, and market products for energy storage and aggregated distributed energy resources, and specifying and addressing enhancements to these existing rules. The roadmap and more information are available on the ISO website at http://www.caiso.com/informed/Pages/MeetingsEvents/PublicForums/Default.aspx.
A stakeholder call is scheduled on May 21, 2015 to discuss the presentation.
