New Upcoming Events Feature Added to the Daily Briefing

The California ISO has added a new, time-saving feature in its Daily Briefing allowing stakeholders to better track upcoming ISO activities.  The Daily Briefing, a summary of the day’s Market Notices sent each afternoon, will include the helpful Upcoming Events feature every Thursday.

The ISO has added a new “Upcoming Events” feature to the Daily Briefing to make it easier for stakeholders to track ISO activities for the following week.  Starting Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017, stakeholders can view a list of calendared events, such as stakeholder calls and meetings, client training, comments submission deadlines and other stakeholder-related activities.  A link to the ISO calendar is also provided to make it easy to add events to your calendar.

This feature is only available to Daily Briefing subscribers. Click here to subscribe and start receiving the briefing as early as today.

The Daily Briefing is a summary version of market notice emails sent each day.  The briefing allows stakeholders to reduce the number of market notice emails received each day, and provides a useful summary of important ISO news and activities.  The briefing contains each notice’s subject, message summary, targeted audience categories, requested action and a link to the full notice.

The ISO issues the briefing at approximately 1:30 p.m. (Pacific Time) each day.  Market notices sent out after that time will be included in the following day’s briefing. All market notices issued daily are also available on the ISO website at
