Regional Resource Adequacy Straw Proposal Posted, Comments Due 3/16/16




The California ISO has published the straw proposal for the Regional Resource Adequacy initiative.  Please submit comments by March 16, 2016.

The ISO has published the straw proposal for the Regional Resource Adequacy initiative, which is available on the ISO website at


The straw proposal describes six items that the ISO intends to modify or add to the tariff so that the ISO's resource adequacy provisions work for a multi-state ISO.  The straw proposal lays out a high-level framework for discussion.  The ISO is seeking stakeholder input on the proposed framework.  A stakeholder meeting to review the straw proposal is scheduled on March 2, 2016 at the California ISO in Folsom.  The market notice outlining the details of the meeting and participation options is available at
