The California ISO will hold a public stakeholder call on July 29, 2021, to discuss tariff areas of tariff clarifications.
The first issue concerns the term “Business Day” and how the ISO proposes amendments to align the tariff to be consistent with the ISO’s business processes particularly in respect to the settlements processes. The second issue concerns the need to amend tariff section 11.31.2 of the tariff to be consistent with the draft final proposal concerning the price for under and over deliveries of intertie awards. The third issue conforms the definitions of short start and long start resources to include both start up time and minimum on line time, and proposes additional related tariff clarifications. In addition, the ISO is updating the timing difference between short start and long start resources based on market enhancements that have occurred over the
years.
The paper describing the issues along with the draft tariff language is available on the miscellaneous stakeholder meetings webpage.
The call will be recorded and the video file posted on the webpage linked above for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
Please submit written comments on the draft tariff language to initiativecomments@caiso.com by end of day August 5.
