The California ISO is hosting an informational stakeholder call on Oct. 31, 2019, to discuss an agreement between the ISO and Transmission Agency of Northern California (TANC) to exchange congestion revenue rights (CRR) for capacity voluntarily made available on the California-Oregon Transmission Project (COTP). This agreement will be filed in November 2019 with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
A presentation summarizing the agreement can be found at http://www.caiso.com/informed/Pages/MeetingsEvents/MiscellaneousStakeholderMeetings/Default.aspx. During the call, stakeholders will have an opportunity to ask questions following the presentation.
The agreement would allow TANC to be eligible to receive financial congestion rights when providing transmission capacity on the COTP under the ISO’s operational control. This option is voluntary and would be in exchange increasing the ISO’s scheduling capacity on the COTP.
This call will be recorded and the video file posted on the ISO website for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
