The California ISO will host a virtual stakeholder-led prioritization working group for the 2024 annual discretionary policy initiatives catalog on April 22, 2024. Stakeholders will present potential discretionary initiatives for prioritization in the catalog including sessions on demand response, congestion revenue rights, long duration energy storage as a transmission asset, and competitive bidding for transmission projects.
Attendees will be able to request further clarification on proposals and discuss the prioritization of these proposals for inclusion in the 2024 catalog. Discretionary initiatives in the 2024 catalog will be considered for inclusion in the ISO’s Policy Initiatives Roadmap that will be finalized in December 2024.
