On April 29, 2024, the California ISO selected Horizon West Transmission, LLC as the approved project sponsor to finance, construct, own, operate and maintain the Imperial Valley - North of SONGs 500kV Substation and Line Project, but did not post the associated report.
Per ISO tariff section 24.5.5: Within 10 Business Days after selecting an Approved Project Sponsor(s) for a needed transmission solution, the ISO will post on the ISO website a report regarding the selection of the Approved Project Sponsor(s).
The ISO will post the Imperial Valley - North of SONGs 500kV Substation and Line Project Sponsor Selection Report by the close of business today, May 9, 2024. The selection report concluding the competitive solicitation process for this project will be available on the transmission planning process webpage. |
