The California ISO will host a public stakeholder call on July 10, 2023, to discuss the track 2 straw proposal for the Capacity Procurement Mechanism (CPM) Enhancements initiative. CPM Enhancements track 2 is an ISO tariff-required stakeholder initiative to consider updating the CPM soft offer cap, which is based on 120% of the levelized going-forward fixed costs of a combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT).
The straw proposal is available on the CPM Enhancements initiative webpage. A presentation will be available prior to the call on that same page.
The call will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
Please submit written comments on the straw proposal by end of day July 24, 2023, through the ISO’s commenting tool using the link on the initiative webpage.
