The California ISO has delayed the Generator Deliverability Methodology Review initiative to run in parallel with the Interconnect Process Enhancements (IPE) 2023 Track 2 initiative. The ISO will provide an updated schedule for the Generation Deliverability Methodology Review initiative when the IPE 2023 Track 2 schedule is released.

In addition to the technical items that stakeholders identified in their comments to the Deliverability Challenges paper published on Dec. 12, 2022, there are several policy-related issues that were identified that will be more effectively addressed in the IPE 2023 Track 2 initiative. Further, recent comments received in the IPE 2023 process tie back to the deliverability methodology. The ISO will conduct the two processes in tandem to enable effective coordination on common issues.
