As part of the Interconnection Process Enhancement 2021 initiative, the California ISO worked with stakeholders to determine additional data that could be made publicly available. The Generator Interconnection Resource ID Report, now posted to the Generator Interconnection webpage on the ISO website, provides resource ID-specific information once a generating resource, or a portion of a generating resource, starts the New Resource Interconnection process. The report identifies generator units initiating the resource interconnection process to synchronize to the grid, conduct testing, and ultimately achieve commercial operation.
Initially, the report will be published weekly. The ISO is now working on automating the report so that it can be queried similar to the Generation Queue Report.
