The California ISO will hold a public stakeholder call on Feb. 9, 2023, to discuss the straw proposal for the minimum state of charge extension initiative. This initiative extends the life of the minimum state of charge constraint to allow for development of the exceptional dispatch features from the energy storage enhancements initiative, and specifies that this extension will extend no further than two additional years.
The straw proposal will be posted prior to the call and will be available on the minimum state of charge extension initiative webpage. The presentation will be available prior to the call on the same webpage.
Please submit written comments on the draft final proposal by end of day, Feb. 23, 2023, through the ISO’s commenting tool using the link on the initiative webpage.
