The California ISO will host a Price Formation Enhancements initiative virtual public stakeholder workshop on Nov. 16, 2022 focused on price formation principles and price formation foundation.
The workshop will primarily focus on:
- Price formation principles
- Price formation foundation
- Simple examples to keep concepts clear and gain understanding of pricing concepts; examples will slowly build on each other to introduce added complexity; final example would illustrate fast-start pricing concepts and issues and
- Other price formation issues as prioritized by the ISO or stakeholders.
Meeting materials will be posted to the Price formation enhancements initiative webpage prior to the workshop. The workshop will be recorded and the file posted to the initiative webpage for a limited time. Any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
