2010 GMC Extension Tariff Modifications

Summary
The California ISO has reposted the draft
tariff language related to proposed modifications to the Grid Management Charge
(GMC) Market Usage Forward Energy Charge and the 2010 GMC extension with
clarifications responding to stakeholder comments. These changes are available
for stakeholder review and discussion during the stakeholder teleconference
scheduled today, October 21, 2009. __________________________________________________

In
response to stakeholder comments, the ISO has made clarifying changes to the
draft tariff revisions to Tariff Appendix F, Parts A, D and E related to
proposed modifications to the GMC Market Usage Forward Energy Charge and the
extension of all other GMC rate components, without change, through December
31, 2010.
The draft GMC tariff language reflects the final Market Usage
Forward Energy Charge proposal and the 2010 GMC extension. Stakeholders
can review the updated proposed tariff language in the document Updated
Draft 2010 GMC Extension Tariff Language 21-Oct-2009 located on the ISO
website at http://www.caiso.com/23f1/23f1eeab40a20.html. The ISO will hold a teleconference today,
October 21 to discuss stakeholder comments and questions.
