The California ISO has posted a draft tariff language clarifying participation requirements for non-generator resources (NGRs) with Resource Adequacy (RA) Capacity in the Reliability Unit Commitment process (RUC). The ISO has scheduled a call on April 15, 2024, where stakeholders are invited to ask questions about the proposed tariff clarification. Registration link has been updated.
As currently implemented, NGRs with RA do not submit $0/MW RUC availability bids into the RUC process. Therefore, the ISO is aligning its tariff language with this expectation.
The draft tariff language is now available on the miscellaneous stakeholder meetings webpage.
This meeting will be recorded and the video file will be posted on the miscellaneous webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
