The California ISO identified three regional transmission solutions that are eligible for competitive solicitation in the Board Approved 2022-2023 Transmission Plan. The ISO has posted its key selection factors for each of the transmission solutions recommended pursuant to Section 24.5.1 of the ISO tariff, which are available on the process webpage.
With the ISO Board approval of the Transmission Plan in May 2023, the ISO will initiate the competitive solicitation for the eligible transmission solutions. Descriptions of the transmission solutions recommended are available in Appendix I of the Board Approved 2022-2023 Transmission Plan.
