The California ISO has scheduled the upcoming quarterly Market Performance and Planning Forum on Sept. 27, 2023. During the meeting, the ISO will also discuss the Summer Market Performance Report for July 2023.
Participants have the option to attend the Sept. 27 forum in person at the ISO, or virtually. If you plan to attend the Sept. 27 in person, please register by end of day Sept. 25.
The objective of the forum is to enable discussion with stakeholders on the following topics:
Market quality and performance
- Discuss the Summer Market Performance Report for July 2023.
- Review key market outcomes, along with an overview of topics covered in the ISO Market update conference calls.
- Discuss market performance issues being monitored by the ISO.
Policy/Regulatory discussion
- Discuss major initiatives, anticipated Board reviews and drivers affecting timing and implementation.
Release planning, release timelines and implementation topics
- Dialogue on high level release planning topics from recent Release User Group calls.
- Note: Weekly user group calls are the primary forum for detailed dialogue on implementation issues.
Other topics
Overview of major topics covered in other relevant weekly stakeholder conference calls.
The Summer Market Performance Report for July 2023, agenda and presentation will be available prior to the meeting.
The meeting will be recorded and the video file posted to the User groups and recurring meetings webpage, under the Market performance and planning forum heading for a limited time.
