The California ISO has updated the meeting time of its March 16, 2023, Market Performance and Planning Forum meeting. The meeting currently scheduled from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., will now be held from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
The objective of the forum is to enable discussion with stakeholders on the following topics:
Market quality and performance
- Review key market outcomes, along with an overview of topics covered in the ISO Market Update conference calls
- Discuss market performance issues being monitored by the ISO
- Identify matters that may result in process changes, technical bulletins, etc.
Release planning, release timelines and implementation topics
- Dialogue on high level release planning topics from recent Technical User Group calls
- Note: Weekly technical user group calls are the primary forum for detailed dialogue on implementation issues
Policy/Regulatory discussion
- Discuss major initiatives, anticipated Board reviews and drivers affecting timing and implementation
Other topics
- Overview of major topics covered in other relevant weekly stakeholder conference calls.
The agenda and presentation will be available prior to the call on the User groups and recurring meetings webpage, under the Market performance and planning forum heading.
If you plan to attend the March 16 meeting in person, please register by end of day March 10. A negative COVID test, taken no more than 24 hours prior to your attendance, is required to attend in-person meetings. While we request that you provide your own test, we will have a limited number of test kits available at the ISO for those that need them. The testing is on an honor basis, and you are required to report your results when you check in. Individuals with a positive test result will not be able to attend in person; however, as noted below there are remote participation options. We look forward to seeing you.
