Notification of revised ISO operating procedures 2330, 2330C, 2510 and 2510B
MESSAGE

The California ISO has revised the operating procedures referenced below.

 

2330 Real-Time Exceptional Dispatch, version 14.3, effective July 1, 2023.

Periodic Review:

Added information on charging or holding battery State-of-Charge (SOC). Removed history prior to five years and minor formatting.

 

2330C Exceptional Dispatch Instruction Type Codes, version 7.4, effective July 1, 2023.

Periodic Review:

Section 2.1: added “SOC Charge” and “SOC Hold” to table.

Section 2.3: Removed “SOC Hold” and “SOC Charge” from Ramping Capacity and added note.  Rearranged “Other Reasons” for Fast Start Unit Management, Software Limitation and Reliability Assessment.

Section 2.4, ASTEST: Removed “Unannounced AS test” from Other Reason column.

Removed history prior to five years.

 

2510 North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Tagging Requirements, version 9.4, effective July 1, 2023.

Section 3.1.2: Updated to include new Market Priority Types and Market Path.

References: Updated Western Electric Coordinating Council (WECC) Standard reference.

Minor formatting and removed history prior to five years.

 

2510B CAISO Tagging Templates, version 1.3, effective July 1, 2023.

Added Resource Sufficiency Evaluation Enhancements (RSEE) 2 Track 1 requirements to the tagging template.

Edited Market Path and the Misc. Info field for low priority market awards.

Corrected typo in OAKDALE, SILVERPEK55, and TESLA230 tabs.
