The California ISO will adjust the 2020 Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) billing rate from $0.075337 to $0.079939. This is the latest rate from the FERC Energy Regulatory Commission Annual Charges billing and the adjustment is in accordance with ISO Tariff Section 11.19.3.2. The new rate will be reflected beginning trade date October 1 T+3B Initial assessment.
Additionally, upon reviewing the FERC Energy Regulatory Commission Annual Charges billing, the invoiced amount is more than the 2019 annual FERC charges that have been assessed to scheduling coordinators. The under-collection amount meets the threshold percentage for assessment of supplemental billing.
Therefore, in accordance with ISO Tariff Section 11.2.13.4, a supplemental billing under Charge Code 525 FERC Fee Over/Under Recovery is required. The ISO will include the supplemental billing of the 2019 FERC Fees under collection in the July 2020 Monthly Initial invoices that are due on August 5, 2020.
