The California ISO has posted the 2020 final Policy Initiatives Catalog to its website at http://www.caiso.com/Documents/2020FinalPolicyInitiativesCatalog.pdf. The final catalog reflects market participants’ initiative requests submitted during the January through July submission window, as well as written comments on the subsequently-published revised draft catalog. The ISO has also posted a stakeholder comments matrix on the revised draft catalog, along with ISO responses.
Stakeholders are requested to submit written comments on the final catalog to initiativecomments@caiso.com by end of day Sept. 19, 2019. Submissions for the next catalog update in February 2020 will be accepted from August 2019 through Jan. 7, 2020.
The Policy Initiatives Catalog documents current, potential, planned and ongoing policy initiatives to develop enhancements to the ISO markets or to related requirements or policy. These are enhancements requiring a stakeholder process and typically resulting in ISO tariff changes.
The ISO plans to publish its draft Annual Policy Initiatives Roadmap in September.
