The California ISO identified four regional transmission solutions that are eligible for competitive solicitation in the Board Approved 2021-2022 Transmission Plan. The ISO has posted its key selection factors for each of the transmission solutions recommended pursuant to Section 24.5.1 of the ISO tariff, which are available on its website.
With the ISO Board approval of the Transmission Plan, in April 2022 the ISO will initiate the competitive solicitation for the eligible transmission solutions. Descriptions of the transmission solutions recommended are available in Appendix G of the Board Approved 2021-2022 Transmission Plan.
