The California ISO has posted the agenda for the Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) initiative foundation workshop on Nov. 12, 2021, which is available on the initiative webpage.
The agenda has been updated since the workshop was initially noticed on Oct. 27, 2021. The overview of the current day-ahead market process will now be discussed in a separate forum for interested stakeholders, which will be announced in a forthcoming notice.
The objective of the November 12, workshop is to provide stakeholders with a foundational overview of the EDAM initiative, including a review of the EDAM Common Design Principles and Concepts, initiative scope, and opportunity for stakeholders to participate in working groups that will be established to develop the detailed market design of key EDAM components. Presentation materials will be posted prior to the workshop at the webpage linked above.
This workshop will be recorded, and the video file will be posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
Please submit written comments on the workshop materials and discussion by end of day Dec. 8, 2021, through the ISO’s commenting tool using the link on the initiative webpage.
