The California ISO will host a Business Practice Manual (BPM) Change Management Appeals Committee teleconference meeting on Feb. 19, 2020, to consider two separate appeals on the final decision of Proposed Revision Request 1122.
The ISO BPM Change Management process enables the ISO and affected parties to propose and track all requested changes to ISO Business Practice Manuals, called Proposed Revision Requests (PRRs). The process also includes the right to appeal a final decision for reconsideration on a PRR to an appeals committee consisting of ISO executives.
During the public session, the committee will hear from the two appellants, ISO staff, and other interested stakeholders on PRR 1122, Inappropriate Reporting of Forced Outages. This PRR affects the BPM for Outage Management.
The meeting agenda includes appeals submitted by:
- Cities of Anaheim, Azusa, Banning, Colton, Pasadena and Riverside, California (Six Cities)
- Pacific Gas and Electric Company
The activity deadlines in the PRR 1122 appeals process are:
Jan. 6, 2020 - ISO posts its answering brief, limited to 8 pages per appeal for a total limit of 16 pages
Jan. 20, 2020 - Appellants submit reply briefs, limited to 4 pages
Jan. 27, 2020 - Stakeholders may submit supporting/opposing briefs, limited to 4 pages
The appeals committee teleconference meeting will be recorded.
The appeals and appeals process documentation are available on the ISO website at http://www.caiso.com/rules/Pages/BusinessPracticeManuals/Default.aspx.
All PRRs and related activity are publicly available through the BPM Change Management site at http://bpmcm.caiso.com/Pages/default.aspx.
