The California ISO issued an Exceptional Dispatch Capacity Procurement Mechanism (CPM) designation on Aug. 16, 2020, to the resource listed below to address an Exceptional Dispatch CPM system reliability need. The Exceptional Dispatch was issued to address a system capacity shortage due to a heat wave that exceeded the forecasted system need. The ISO issued Exceptional Dispatches to all available resources that did not already have a market award. The resource listed below responded to the
Exceptional Dispatch and at least part of the capacity that responded was not Resource Adequacy capacity. The total quantity resulting from the designation was 8.7 megawatts (MW).
The ISO has designated the capacity identified below effective Aug. 16, 2020, for a system reliability need. The CPM term is 30 days, as provided under the tariff, subject to adjustment and the payment provisions set forth in Section 43A of the ISO tariff.
