The California ISO is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of its redesigned webpages for recurring stakeholder processes, reorganizing content and offering filtering and search capabilities. This effort was undertaken to continually improve the stakeholder experience when reviewing material for recurring stakeholder processes. Recurring stakeholder processes include such efforts as transmission planning, annual policy initiatives roadmap, budget and grid management charge, and flexible capacity needs assessment.
Specific updates to the webpages include the transformation of the recurring stakeholder process main page to include a status table, which allows stakeholders to quickly track process activities using the page’s filter and search functionalities. Similarly, the individual recurring process webpages include a status table allowing stakeholders to easily track the current activities. The content on the recurring process pages has been reorganized displaying the most recent information at the top to make it easier to participate in upcoming activities.
In addition, the recurring stakeholder processes will have the ability to utilize the ISO’s commenting tool. Stakeholder input is vital to the success of the ISO’s development and implementation of new market designs, policies and infrastructure planning
The commenting tool standardizes the submission process with an online template. The tool includes the capability to sort and filter comments by organization or by question, and download selected comments in a Word or PDF document. This submission process also provides safeguards that strengthen cyber security for the ISO and stakeholders. In addition, the online template allows stakeholders to incorporate rich text and in-line graphics within submitted comments.
Stakeholders that have not already registered to utilize the commenting tool will need to register by completing a simple one-time registration. A video recording of the training on the use of the tool and how to register can be viewed here.
